Description

Product Overview

The ANWETECH AT-EH03 Rod Type Temperature Detector is a fixed-temperature fire detection device designed for industrial and special hazard environments.

It can be installed in protected areas as a temperature alarm device. When the surrounding temperature reaches the preset alarm value, the detector sends an alarm signal. Unlike conventional rate-of-rise heat detectors, it is not affected by short-term temperature fluctuation or the speed of temperature increase.

The detector can be used as a normally open temperature switch in fire alarm systems. It is suitable for explosion-proof applications and provides IP67 protection for harsh industrial environments.

Key Features

  1. Fast response when the ambient temperature reaches the preset alarm value.
  2. Fixed-temperature operation helps reduce false alarms caused by short-term temperature fluctuations.
  3. Wide application range for industrial fire detection and temperature monitoring.
  4. Self-recovery design, no replacement required after operation under normal conditions.
  5. Robust sealed metal housing with good vibration resistance, corrosion resistance and anti-disassembly performance.
  6. Explosion-proof design suitable for hazardous industrial areas.
  7. IP67 protection grade for dustproof and waterproof installation environments.
  8. Operating environmental temperature range: -40°C to 180°C.

Installation Description

The detector is normally installed near the protected object or high-risk temperature point. When the temperature around the sensing rod reaches the preset value, the internal contact changes status and sends a fire alarm signal to the connected fire alarm control system or monitoring device.

For hazardous area applications, external wiring should be designed according to the project’s explosion-proof requirements. Where intrinsically safe circuits are required, suitable safety barriers should be used.
