Description

Product Overview

ANWETECH AT-LD102 is a locating leakage controller used as the main control unit for leak detection cable systems. It is designed to monitor compatible leak sensing cables and provide leakage location indication, local alarm, relay output, and RS485 Modbus RTU communication.

Unlike a single-purpose water leakage alarm, AT-LD102 can serve as the controller host for different types of leakage detection cable systems. When matched with suitable sensing cables, it can be applied to water leak detection, oil leak detection, fuel leak detection, liquid hydrocarbon leak detection, and chemical liquid leak detection applications.

When liquid leakage is detected, the controller activates sound and light alarm indication, displays the leakage location on the LED digital display, outputs relay alarm signal, and transmits leakage data through the RS485 communication interface.

The controller can be used independently as a local leakage alarm unit or integrated into a monitoring system, BMS, PLC, remote alarm panel, or industrial monitoring platform through Modbus RTU communication.

Leakage Location Display

When leakage occurs, the controller displays the leakage position on the LED digital display, helping users quickly identify the approximate leakage point and reduce inspection time.

Up to 1000 m Sensing Cable Monitoring

AT-LD102 can monitor leak sensing cable with a total length of up to 1000 meters, making it suitable for long-distance cable routing in equipment rooms, trenches, tank areas, pipeline zones, warehouses, and industrial facilities.

RS485 Modbus RTU Communication

The controller supports RS485 two-wire communication and Modbus RTU protocol, allowing connection to BMS, PLC, SCADA, remote monitoring panels, or other integrated acquisition hosts.

Relay Alarm Output

AT-LD102 provides relay alarm output for leakage events. The relay supports NO and NC contact states, allowing connection to local alarm devices, remote alarm systems, shut-off valves, PLC input modules, or other control devices.

Sound and Light Alarm Indication

The controller provides local sound and light alarm indication when leakage is detected, making it suitable for independent use in small systems or local monitoring panels.

DIN Rail Installation

The controller supports standard 35 mm DIN rail installation, making it easy to install inside control cabinets, monitoring boxes, electrical panels, or instrument enclosures.

Suitable for System Integration

With relay output and RS485 Modbus RTU communication, AT-LD102 can be used in both standalone leak detection systems and integrated monitoring projects.

Wiring / Signal Output Description

AT-LD102 connects to the leak detection sensing cable through the detection line interface. The sensing cable wiring sequence shown in the source file is:

Power input is 12–24 VDC.

The relay output can be used to send leakage alarm signals to external equipment. It can be connected to local alarm devices, remote monitoring systems, PLC input modules, valve control circuits, or building management systems.

The RS485 interface supports Modbus RTU communication. The default address is 1 and the default baud rate is 9600. Address and baud rate can be configured according to the upper monitoring system.

Installation / Mounting Notes

AT-LD102 is designed for 35 mm DIN rail installation. It can be installed inside a control cabinet, leakage monitoring panel, electrical enclosure, or instrument box.

Installation notes:

  • Select the correct leak detection sensing cable according to the liquid medium.
  • Install the controller in a dry and protected cabinet or control box.
  • Connect the sensing cable strictly according to the wiring label.
  • Ensure the termination end is properly connected.
  • Avoid mechanical impact during installation.
  • Prevent metal filings, grease, coating materials, or pollutants from entering the controller.
  • Avoid sharp objects that may scratch or damage the sensing cable.
  • Use proper cable clips, holders, or professional cable fixing methods.
  • Do not use metal binding directly on the sensing cable.
  • Do not install the sensing cable directly facing an air conditioner outlet.
  • For chemical or oil leakage applications, confirm cable compatibility with the actual liquid before project selection.
