TJ202 is a handheld fire telephone extension used with ANWETECH fire telephone panels TJ101 / TJ102 and fire telephone jacks. Firefighters can plug in the handset and talk directly with the fire control room, providing fast and reliable voice communication during an emergency.
The TJ202 Handheld Fire Telephone Extension is part of the ANWETECH fire fighters telephone system. Together with the TJ101 / TJ102 fire telephone panels, TJ201 wall extensions and TJ301 fire telephone jacks, it builds a complete two-wire fire telephone network inside the building.
TJ202 is designed as a portable fireman handset. In normal conditions it is stored in the fire control room, fire cabinet or at the security desk; when a fire or emergency happens, firefighters can simply carry the handset to the nearest TJ301 fire telephone jack, plug in, and the system automatically calls the fire telephone panel. No dialling is required – as soon as the plug is inserted, the operator in the fire control room hears the incoming call and can talk in full duplex.
With very low standby current and only 30 mA typical operating current, the handset is suitable for long-distance bus wiring up to 2000 m (when used with TJ101 / TJ102). The robust housing and flexible curly cable make TJ202 ideal for use in stairwells, plant rooms, tunnels and other harsh environments where portable fire telephones are required.
