This waterproof-type detector base is designed as a universal mounting enclosure for smoke detectors and heat detectors as well as other small sensors. The housing is made from robust ABS plastic and provides an IP33 protection rating, giving improved resistance to dust and water spray in indoor and sheltered outdoor locations.
With overall dimensions of 110 × 133 × 52 mm, the base offers sufficient internal space for terminals and cable joints. Three Ø20.6 mm knock-out cable entries allow flexible conduit or cable entry from different directions. To ensure reliable sealing, the base is supplied with two M20 × 1.5 waterproof cable glands as standard.
Used together with fire alarm smoke or heat detectors, this waterproof-type base helps installers achieve a clean, professional finish and protects the detector wiring against moisture and mechanical damage in apartments, offices, warehouses and plant rooms.
